Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala on Tuesday said in Bengaluru that the title of CM is for ‘conman’ and that CM Basavaraj Bommai had promised 1 lakh jobs for youth in the state but failed to deliver. Addressing a rally in Karnataka, Surjewala alleged that job opportunities were being auctioned in the state. Surejwala claimed that CM stands for ‘conman’. Bommai had promised one lakh jobs to the youth. But, the jobs in Karnataka are being sold to the highest bidder. It is a market place for the sale of jobs.

The Congress MP said that the biggest scam was the job of the police sub-inspector. 54,000 candidates appeared in the exam. BJP gave its classic reply that nothing happened, all is well. Randeep Surjewala said that even BJP leader Yatnal said that senior ministers are directly involved in the PSI scam. RD Patil has written a letter to the Lokayukta. He said that the officer probing the PSI scam had demanded a bribe of Rs three crore. 70 lakh has already been distributed.
