The incident took place during the minister’s inspection in Tiruvallur district. The camera captured the minister getting angry at the worker and hurling a stone. It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the incident.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam minister SM Nasar was seen pelting stones at a party worker over alleged delay in getting a chair. A video of this incident has been shared several times on social media. The incident took place during the minister’s inspection in Tiruvallur district. The camera captured the minister getting angry at the worker and hurling a stone. It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the incident.

Milk and Dairy Development Minister SM Nasar was inspecting the venue where Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is expected to attend a program tomorrow. This program will be held in the memory of those killed during the anti-Hindi agitation in the state. The first anti-Hindi agitation was launched in 1937, in protest against the introduction of compulsory teaching of Hindi in the schools of the Madras Presidency by the first Indian National Congress government. The move was immediately opposed by E V Ramasamy (Periyar) and the opposition Justice Party. The movement lasted for three years which included fasting, conferences, marches, picketing and protests in Tamil Nadu, formerly Madras State.
