For the first time in this Republic Day parade, 21 gun salute will be given from 105 mm IFG indigenous gun, which till now was given from 25 powder guns. It reflects India’s self-reliance in the defense sector. Thereafter, four Mi-17 1V/V5 helicopters of 105 Helicopter Unit also showered flowers on the spectators present on the duty path. According to the information, this time on the path of duty, the Egyptian army has also saluted the joint band and marching squad. This marching contingent of the Egyptian Army is led by Colonel Mahmoud Mohamed Abdel Fattah Al Kharaswi.
