Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav suddenly started meowing while talking to the media in the Bihar Legislative Assembly campus on Monday evening. As soon as the Deputy CM started meowing, the RJD MLAs and other leaders standing around him started laughing. RJD President and Tejashwi Yadav’s father Lalu Yadav was giving a statement to the media regarding the cash and jewelery found in the raids of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the land-for-job scam during the railway minister’s tenure.
Tejashwi Yadav told the media- “Will run the news now. Got it. Got it. Will roar like a lion. And after ten days it will meow.” In fact, Tejashwi Yadav said that this time also the investigating agency has not found anything in the raid. Yadav said that the BJP has accepted defeat from him and has given up. Tejashwi said that BJP is getting raids done in the blood of this defeat.
Last Monday, former Chief Minister and Tejashwi’s mother Rabri Devi was questioned by the CBI in Patna in connection with the Railway’s land of job scam. Former CM Lalu Yadav was also questioned in Delhi on Tuesday. On Friday, ED raided around 24 locations in Patna, Delhi and Ranchi. Apart from Tejashwi Yadav, all these targets were killed at the house of Lalu-Rabri’s daughters Chanda Yadav, Ragini Yadav and Hema Yadav.
ED Raid: 70 lakh cash and 2 kg gold recovered from Lalu’s daughters and Tejashwi’s house, 900 US dollars also found
ED sources had told the media that a total of 70 lakh cash, 2 kg gold jewelery and coins and US $ 900 were found in the countrywide raid on Friday. Regarding this verandah, Tejashwi Yadav told the media that big claims are being made about the raid, but after ten days all these talkers will disappear.
The CBI had also sent summons to Tejashwi Yadav for questioning in this matter but he did not go citing his wife who was hospitalized after ill health. CBI is preparing to send summons to him again. The house where Tejashwi Yadav was found in ED’s raid in Delhi is registered in the name of a company accused of the Job for Land scam. However, this is the company whose ownership rights have been acquired by Rabri Devi long back.
