Congress told BJP’s B team that Owaisi got angry, Rahul Gandhi told – Walker in Chief
The Congress party has named Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) as the B-team of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing the results of the recently concluded municipal elections in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh. Although Pawan Khera didn’t mention anyone in his tweet, the numbers he shared were enough to tell which side he was targeting. Owaisi has responded to Pawan Kheda and Congress in his own style. During this he called Rahul Gandhi ‘Walker in Chief’.
On Wednesday, targeting both AIMIM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Pawan Khera tweeted: “You can see how BJP’s B teams are strategically leading the party to victory.” In the shared numbers, Congress lost to the BJP by just 388 votes. Owaisi’s party got 10,322 votes, while AAP got just 2,908 votes.
Responding to Pawan Khera’s tweet, Asaduddin Owaisi said Congress should explain why it won just 15 seats out of 186 Lok Sabha seats in 2019, where it was in direct competition with the BJP. Owaisi wrote, “BJP is cutting more votes in Congress than any other party. Congress should demand that the BJP stop contesting elections.”
Owaisi took a dig at Rahul Gandhi and his continuing Bharat Jodo Yatra and called Rahul Gandhi ‘Chief Chief’. Owaisi asked, “Why did Congress lose Amethi. ‘Is Walker’s Commander-in-Chief so incompetent?’
