Hov: Indian batsman Shubman Gill played a sparkling 119 for Glamorgan against Sussex in his first County Championship Division II century here on Tuesday. Gill extended his innings by 91 in the morning and left in the eighth left of the second day. He completed his eighth century of his first-class career by scoring two runs off arm pacer Sean Hunt.

The 23-year-old Indian batsman made 139 pitches and hit 16 fours and two sixes before being caught by off-spinner Jack Carson. Gill came in third after Glamorgan won the toss and chose to bat first.
