WhatsApp Payments has recently launched a new Rs 105 cashback offer, which will be available to select users in the country. The cashback offer is valid on a minimum transaction of Rs 1 and you can avail cashback ranging from Rs 35 to Rs 105. This offer is valid only for WhatsApp users on Android and iOS who have been using the service for at least 30 days. Payments will be considered valid only when a gift icon appears on the App. WhatsApp Business users cannot avail cashback as of now.

In April, WhatsApp introduced a cashback offer where users could get a total cashback of Rs 33 for making three transfers to users using other WhatsApp payments. While users were earlier getting Rs 11 per transaction cashback, according to the company, users will now get Rs 35 per transaction (total Rs 105) cashback.

The company has also kept some terms in this offer. You need to be a WhatsApp user for at least 30 days and register your bank account for payments service on the app. Cashback will be available only when money is sent to those users who are using WhatsApp Payments. The company says that when the gift icon is not visible (next to the receiver’s name), the payment will not be eligible for the cashback offer.

Similarly, QR code payments, payments on collect request, payments made by entering the receiver’s UPI ID, and payments made to third party app users will not be eligible for this cashback offer. How to avail Rs. 105 cashback on WhatsApp Payments

1. Update to the latest version of WhatsApp from the Google Play Store or App Store.
2. Open WhatsApp and look for a banner icon with a gift icon on top of your chat list.
3. Select the contact using WhatsApp Payments and tap on the Rupee (₹) icon on the chat bar.
4. Here enter the amount (Rs 1 or more) you want to send and tap on the send button.
5. Enter your UPI PIN on the next screen.
6. View the in-chat confirmation message to confirm the transaction.
7. You will need to go to the WhatsApp Payments section for a message confirming that you have received the cashback.
