Japan and South Korea are facing the threat of the most powerful cyclonic storm of the year 2022. The storm moving in the East China Sea is set to hit the western part of Japan and southern parts of South Korea. Super Typhoon ‘Hinnamnor’ is a category-5 storm. Its wind is blowing at a speed of about 257 kmph. According to the US Joint Typhoon Warning Center, Hinamanor is currently moving with sustained winds of about 160 miles (257 kilometers) per hour. Tornado winds exceed 195 mph. Because of this, waves up to 15 meters high can rise in the sea. According to an official of the Japan Meteorological Agency, Hinamanor will be the strongest typhoon of the year 2022.

According to reports, after hitting the coasts, its maximum impact may be in Japan. It may affect Okinawa and some nearby islands in Japan. At the same time, the eastern coast of China and the southern part of South Korea will also come under its grip. According to the Hong Kong Observatory, the typhoon was centered about 230 kilometers east of Okinawa, Japan, at around 10 a.m. However, the US JTWC has predicted that the storm will lose some of its strength in the coming days.
