Samsung Galaxy Book S laptop launched, claims 23 hours of battery life

Samsung Galaxy Book S laptop has been launched. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8CX processor. The Galaxy S has a premium metal construction and is said to have a battery life of around 23 hours. The reason for the better battery life is the hardware-level performance optimization that controls battery consumption under different conditions. The new laptop is an upgrade over the Galaxy Book 2.

Samsung Galaxy Book S price and availability

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Book S starts at $999 (about Rs.71,000). It is currently available in the US market. The company says it will only be sold in select markets. As of now, the information about Samsung Galaxy Book S being brought to India is not available. The new Samsung laptop is available in Earthly Gold and Mercury Gold colors.

Samsung Galaxy Book S specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book S has a 13.3-inch full-HD screen. It comes with 10-point multi-touch support. The aspect ratio is 16:9. As we told you before, the laptop has a Snapdragon 8CX processor built on a 7nm process. The maximum clock speed is 2.84 GHz. There is 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM with Qualcomm processor. Apart from this, there is SSD storage up to 512 GB. It will also be possible to use a microSD card up to 1 TB if necessary.

The Galaxy Book S is powered by a 42W Hover battery. It is claimed to last about 23 hours. It supports PD 2.0, AFC and QC 2.0 standard charging. In terms of connectivity options, the laptop has room for a Nano SIM card. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0.

The laptop also has a fingerprint sensor. That’s what Samsung says as soon as Yazoor touches the laptop. It is activated. The dimensions of the Galaxy Book S are 305.2 x 203.2 x 11.8 millimeters and it weighs 0.96 kg.
