Redmi G Gaming Notebook has been launched in China as the first gaming laptop of the Xiaomi sub-brand. This laptop has a stylish design and impressive specifications like 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia graphics card and high refresh rate screen etc. The Redmi G gaming notebook laptop comes with a single color option but in terms of configuration you get three options with different processors and screen refresh rates. Full-HD display and oblique angles are given in all three configurations. Thin bezels are present at the top and both sides, but thick bezels are given at the bottom edge.

As we mentioned, the Redmi G laptop comes with three configurations, in which you get up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The base variant of the laptop Intel Core i5-10200H CPU (60Hz screen) costs CNY 5,299 (about Rs 57,100). While the mid-tier Core i5-10300H CPU (144Hz screen) variant costs CNY 6,299 (about Rs 68,000). At the same time, the latest variant of this laptop is the Core i7-10750H (144Hz display), which costs CNY 6,999 (about Rs 75,500). On the first sale, the company is offering promotional discounts on all three laptops.

The Redmi G has been made available for pre-order in China, with the laptop going on sale from August 18. As of now, Xiaomi has not shared any information regarding the international availability of this laptop.

Redmi G comes with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. It has a 16.1-inch screen of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. This gaming laptop has 100 percent sRGB color space coverage and an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio. Redmi G laptop is equipped with 10th generation Intel Core i7-10750H CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads. To handle graphics, it got an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU. The gaming laptop has 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe x4 NVMe SSD for storage.

For connectivity, the Redmi G has 2 × 2 MIMO Dual Antenna Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, Gigabit Wired Network, USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 port, a full-size HDMI 2.0 port. , USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack are provided. For audio, the laptop has two 2-watt speakers with DTS:X Ultra support. At the same time, the laptop’s battery is 55 Wh, which is said to provide 5.5 hours of battery life with 1080p local video playback. The keyboard of the Redmi G gaming notebook comes with backlight and numeric keypad. At the same time, there is support for multi-finger gestures in the touchpad.
