Microsoft has finally launched the new Surface Go 2 tablet, Surface Book 3 laptop, Surface Headphones 2, Surface Earbuds, Surface Dock 2 and USB-C Travel Hub. The whole world is currently working from home during the corona lockdown. In such a situation, the company has taken a step forward by offering its customers a great experience by launching the highly anticipated device. According to Microsoft, it is designed to showcase the potential of Windows 10, while at the same time providing people with a great experience to work, learn new things, talk with friends and have fun. These new products include new tablets, 2-in-1 laptops, accessories in the company’s portfolio. Now let’s take a look at these products and their price and specification.

Microsoft Surface Go 2 price and specs

The Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet has a 10.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1280 pixels. It promises a better battery, 65 percent faster performance in the top variant of this tab, which is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core M processor. The base variant costs $399.99 (around Rs 30,500), in which you get features such as an Intel Pentium Gold processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. Talking about the high-end model from this tab, it gets a more expensive CPU with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which costs $629 (about Rs 47,970) or $729 (about Rs 55,595).

The Surface Go 2 weighs 553 grams without the keyboard cover. Speaking of other features, you get a USB Type-C port, Microsoft’s proprietary Surface connector for charging and accessories, headphone jack, microSD card slot, dual studio microphone and 5-megapixel webcam.

Microsoft Surface Book 3 price and specs

The premium Microsoft Surface Book 3 detachable 2-in-1 device is said to deliver 50 percent better performance than its previous model. In Microsoft Surface Book 3 you get two versions of 13.5 inches and 15 inches. The 15-inch version gives you 17.5 hours of battery life. For gaming or creating professional content, you can separately choose Nvidia GeForce GTX or Quadro RTX GPUs. Microsoft has used Intel 10th generation ‘Ice Lake’ Core i5 and Core i7 processors.

In contrast, the 13.5-inch model weighs 1.64 kg, while the 15-inch model weighs 1.9 kg, including the detachable tablet and keyboard. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, two USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, two Surface Connector ports, microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel megapixel rear camera. Camera, far-field stereo microphone and fully backlit keyboard etc.

The 13.5-inch model starts at $1,599 (about Rs 1,21,940), which comes with a 1.2GHz Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of NVMe storage. On the other hand, the 15-inch variant comes with 1.3GHz Core i7 CPU, GeForce GTX Ti GPU, 32GB RAM and 2TB NVMe storage. The price is $3,399 (about Rs 2,59,200).

Microsoft Surface Headphones 2 price and specs

The Surface Headphones 2 has also launched alongside the Surface Go 2 tablet and Surface Book 3 laptop, promising 13 levels of ambient noise cancellation, better sound quality and great battery life. Microsoft claims it offers 20 hours of battery life with 1 hour of use on a 5 minute charge. Available in black or platinum, the headphones cost $249 (approximately Rs 18,990).

Microsoft Surface Earbuds price and specs

You get the Microsoft Surface earbuds with a single glacier color option and IPX4 rating for water resistance. Their price is $199 (about Rs 15,175).
