When Jupiter is furthest from Earth, there is a distance of 600 million miles between the two. Jupiter has named 53 moons, but scientists believe a total of 79 moons have been discovered so far.

This makes it appear larger and brighter. But this time, the incident was different, as Jupiter was not only in the opposite direction, but also closest to Earth.
