HP Chromebook x360 launched in India, price announced


The HP brand introduced a new Chromebook model in India on Friday. The price of the new Chromebook model starts at Rs 44,990. It will be known as HP Chromebook x360. This laptop with Chrome OS has support for Android apps through Google Play Store. The laptop will be available on Amazon and Flipkart, in addition to HP World stores in 28 cities across the country. The company provides a year of free Google One Cloud service with this product. Buyers get 100 GB of Google Drive storage and unlimited Google Photos storage.

Customers who purchase an HP Chromebook x360 will get 2 GB of 4G data for daily use for free for a year with a JioFi device worth Rs 999. In addition, there is also a premium subscription to Jio’s Android apps. This laptop is available in Ceramic White and Cloud Blue colours.

The Chromebook X360 has four positions: Laptop, Tablet, Stand and Tent. The 8th generation Intel Core i3-8130U processor is used for this. It has a 14-inch FullHD (1920×1080 pixels) multi-touch IPS display. Here, the Micro-Edge has an ultra-thin 7.5mm bezel.

It has HD True VisionHD camera for webcam. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 4.2, two USB Type 3.2 Type C ports. The laptop comes with 64GB of SSD storage, up to 8GB of RAM and a 3-cell 60W battery. It also has a full-size backlit keyboard and weighs 1.68 kg.
