Both the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops are available in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screen sizes. It has a refresh rate of 300 Hz and a response time of 3 ms. AMD FreeSync Premium technology is also supported in their display. Both laptops contain 90 Wh batteries and each device claims to deliver 11.4 hours of video playback. Apart from this, there is support for fast charging in both laptops, which allows the battery to be charged to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
Both laptop models have such a feature called AMD SmartShift. This automatically adjusts the load on the CPU and GPU, and this new technology increases performance by up to 15 percent. The devices are powered by AMD Ryzen 9 59000 HX octa-core CPU coupled with the new Radeon RX 6800M GPU. It is based on the new RDNA 2 architecture. These include up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. In terms of ports, HDMI 2.0, 3 USB Type-A slots, a USB C-Type port, an RJ45 LAN port and a 3.5 mm audio jack are also present. For connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1 are given. The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition come with two 4W speakers that come with Smart Amp technology and AI microphone noise cancellation. It also has a built-in array microphone.
