Later, the child died. The official Anadolu news agency identified them as Samir Muhammad Akkar, 49, his wife Ragda, 40, and their 12-year-old son.
According to reports, bodies of two more children were found in the debris. As of Friday evening, the total death toll in Turkey stood at 39,672, bringing the total death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria to 43,360.
