Harris visited the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) dividing the Korean Peninsula during her visit to Asia and emphasized the US commitment to protecting its Asian allies amid mounting threats from North Korea. This is the third missile test recently conducted by North Korea. North Korea conducted a missile test a day before Harris arrived in South Korea and conducted one on Sunday.
