Khalistan In Australia: Khalistanis again took out a rally, why is the Australian government repeatedly ignoring India’s appeal?

Melbourne: These days the atmosphere in Melbourne, Australia is quite tense. Here on January 15, Khalistan supporters took out a huge rally in which about two thousand people participated. The purpose of this rally, which lasted for several hours, was to glorify the killers of Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of India. On January 6, 1989, Indira’s killers Satwant Singh and Kehar Singh were hanged. Khalistan is going to hold a referendum on January 29 in Australia. People were also told about this through this rally.

The referendum is on 29 January

The rally that took place in Melbourne was organized by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). A plebiscite is also being organized in Australia on behalf of this organization. The killers in whose support the rally was organized had killed Indira to avenge Operation Blue Star. It has been 34 years since their hanging and both of them were honored at the rally by declaring them as martyrs.

Trucks and cars had huge posters of the killers. Along with this, there was also a post of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala. It was Bhindranwala who started the Khalistan movement demanding a separate Punjab country. The plebiscite to be held on January 29 was announced in the rally itself. It has been named ‘Last Battle’.

Government of India’s appeal unheard

This Khalistan rally has angered the Hindu community settled in Australia. It is being told that Hindus tore their banners and opposed the Khalistan movement. Due to this tension has increased in the Sikh and Hindu community. India has continuously protested against this movement in front of the Australian government. But the Australian government is being negligent about this whole issue. The government has not yet taken any major decision regarding the referendum to be held on January 29.

Hindus of Australia angry

Voting is also organized by SFJ in Melbourne. But it seems that the authorities are still sleeping. Since January 8, posts were being made on social media regarding the Melbourne rally. A post has been shared on Twitter on behalf of Australia Hindu Media. It says that the killers of Indira Gandhi are being honored by the Plumtan Gurdwara. How did this become a charity work. Do charity and not for profits in Australia consider this kind of work right.
