Yokum. A small plane crashed on Tuesday at an airport in the US state of Yocum, Texas, killing four members of a Tennessee church and injuring a prominent pastor. The authorities and the church gave this information. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the single-engine Piper PA-46 aircraft crashed in an open field south of an airport located in Yocum. Yocum, a small town with a population of about six thousand people, is located about 160 km east of San Antonio. One of the five people on board managed to get out of the plane and was taken to a hospital in Victoria, said Sergeant Ruben San Miguel of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The city of Victoria is located approximately 65 km south of Yocum. Harvest Church, located in the Memphis suburb of Germantown, said Presbyter Kenan Vaughn was hospitalized in Texas and was reported to be in stable condition.
