Atta. A case has been registered against a quack doctor in connection with the death of a child allegedly during treatment in Aliganj area of the district. A quack doctor named Tilak Singh operated on a two-and-a-half-month-old child of a person named Harishankar in Aliganj area, police sources said on Thursday, quoting from the recorded report, after which the child died on Wednesday due to excessive bleeding.
According to sources, it is alleged that even after the death of the child, Singh did not tell anything to his family and ran away. Chief Medical Officer Umesh Chandra Tripathi said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and an inquiry has been ordered into the entire episode.
