In this matter, on Sunday, the government employees of the entire state traveled from Panchkula to Chandigarh and held a vigorous demonstration near the Chief Minister’s residence. The employees demanded that only the old pension scheme should be implemented in the state.

The employees were protesting on Sunday regarding their demand. During this, a large number of police forces were deployed around the Chief Minister’s residence. President of Pension Restoration Sangharsh Samiti, Praveen Deshwal says that 70,000 employees of the state have participated in this protest. Giving the example of Rajasthan, he said that there the state government has implemented the old pension scheme. But the BJP government in Haryana does not talk about this matter. The government should also restore the old pension scheme.

Police used water canon
At the same time, a large number of police were deployed to stop and disperse the protesting employees. Along with this deployment, the police also used water cannons to stop the workers. Explain that the employees of the state had moved from Panchkula to Chandigarh to demand the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme. But all the employees were stopped at the border itself. The workers were furious when they were stopped from demonstrating. Later there was a fierce clash between the workers and the police.
