Heavy fog, poor visibility and inclement weather forced the helicopter to make an emergency landing at 10:40 am today. On getting the information, the local police also reached the spot. Around 11:30 am, after a wait of 50 minutes the sky cleared up and the helicopter took off once again.

A helicopter carrying Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had to make an emergency landing at Sathyamangalam in Tamil Nadu’s Erode district due to bad weather. According to reports, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was traveling from Bengaluru to Tiruppur in a private helicopter along with four others. The helicopter had to make an emergency landing at 10:40 am today due to extreme fog, poor visibility and inclement weather. On getting the information, the local police also reached the spot. Around 11:30 am, after a wait of 50 minutes the sky cleared up and the helicopter took off once again.

The helicopter lands in open ground and foggy weather. As soon as the emergency landing took place, the villagers reached the spot to take stock of the situation. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar along with his team was seen interacting with the local residents. The helicopter took off after being on standby for 50 minutes.
