So far 14 people have been reported to have been pulled out of the debris in this incident. Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are carrying out rescue operations at the spot. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brijesh Pathak said that all the hospitals in the district have been alerted. There were 12 flats in the four-storey building, of which nine were occupied, he said.
