According to the information, former health minister of the state Deepak Sawant has joined the Shinde faction. Deepak Sawant is known to be a close aide of Uddhav Thackeray.

Due to this displeasure, it was said that there was a rift between Uddhav Thackeray and Deepak Sawant. That is why he decided to join the Shinde Group.

Deepak Sawant was appointed as the Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra with the Department of Health and Family Welfare in December 2014. Later he was also given the responsibility of being the Guardian Minister of Bhandara District and Osmanabad District. Let us tell you that last year there was a rebellion in Shiv Sena. More than 40 MLAs of the party had gone along with Eknath Shinde after which the government of Maha Vikas Aghadi led by Uddhav Thackeray fell.
