Hello everyone and welcome to Prabhasakshi News Network’s special program Jana Gana Mana. Today we will talk about the questions arising on Ramcharitmanas and Sanatan Dharma. Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Mr. Vinod Bansal was present for discussion with us in the program. In conversation with him, Prabhasakshi not only got to know his reaction to the statements of leaders coming against Ramcharitmanas, but also his opinion on the controversies involving Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham. Here are the highlights of the conversation-

question 1. Ram is being attacked in Ram’s country. Ram Katha is being made controversial. What mindset is this?

Answer- See, earlier these people used to oppose the Ram Mandir movement. Then he started opposing the temple. After that, now when the date of completion of the temple construction has come to the fore, these demonic forces are speaking against Ram. These people know that there is no beheaded gang in Hindu society and Hindus are tolerant society, that’s why these people keep attacking the symbols of Hindu beliefs. But from time to time, time itself punishes such people.

Question 2. There is a demand for a ban on Ramcharitmanas, raising questions on some verses and demanding their removal. What is the reaction of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on this?

Answer- Those who are making such demands, have they read the entire Ramcharitmanas? Can such people make similar demands about other scriptures also? All this is being done under a conspiracy but Hindu is watching everything.

Question 3. Recently Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly has passed a resolution urging the Central Government to go ahead with the Sethusamudram scheme. How do you see it?

Answer- These people do not talk about the interest of Tamil Nadu but for their family interest. Today the Chief Minister who is talking about moving forward on the Sethusamudram scheme, his father had also said the same. But what happened? Actually these people are against Ram. There are seven alternative routes to complete the Sethusamudram project but they are only interested in breaking Ram Sethu, the symbol of faith of Ram devotees. But they will never succeed in this.

Question-4. The Madhya Pradesh government has decided that Hindu religious texts will be taught to students in government schools and disrespect of the revered texts will not be tolerated. Do you think that private schools in Madhya Pradesh should also teach Hindu religious texts and this should be followed in other states as well? The question also arises that why only Hindu religious texts should be taught?

Answer- This decision of Madhya Pradesh government is welcome. Other states should also take inspiration from this and at the national level Vedas should be taught in all schools and colleges as they show the right direction. Describing the Madhya Pradesh government’s decision as a Hindu religious text is also wrong because the Vedas do not just teach about religion but introduce the principles of life. Anyway, there have been many such great personalities around the world who have been taking inspiration from Vedas or Hindu religious books.

Question-5. Nowadays Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is very much discussed. They are being called hypocrites and it is being said that their powers are just an illusion. How do you view these allegations?

Answer- Since Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is not allowing forced conversions to happen and is engaged in the mission of returning home, he is being attacked. Attacks on the followers of Sanatan Dharma have been happening since time immemorial, so one should not care about them. But the support Dhirendra ji is getting is showing what people think about him.

Question-6. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has demanded that Ramcharitmanas should be declared a national scripture. Along with this, he has also talked about Hindu nation. What is the reaction of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on this?

Answer: We agree with him. By the way, Ramcharitmanas does not need any formal status because it is the soul of this country.

Question-7. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that making India a great nation is the common goal of both RSS and Netaji. But Netaji’s daughter has said that the ideology of RSS and the ideals of Netaji are poles apart. Today Netaji’s grandson has said that Savarkar and Netaji cannot be worshiped together. How do you see it?

Answer- We believe that great men cannot be compared. Everyone has contributed in the freedom struggle, so everyone should be respected. But the country has seen how attempts were made to belittle Netaji’s contribution. Now the mistake of the previous governments is being rectified.
