A surprising case has come to light in Maharashtra’s Pune district. Here the dead bodies of seven members of the same family have been found on the banks of a river, after which the suspicion of mass suicide has started deepening. The family had committed suicide by jumping into the Bhima river.
Police found bodies of seven members of a family in Bhima river in Maharashtra’s Pune district. There has been a stir after this matter came to the fore in Yavat village of Daund tehsil, 45 km from Pune. The police had recovered four bodies from the river between January 18 and 22, taking the toll to seven. The police had started investigation in the case from all angles, after which the matter of murder has come to the fore.
On January 24, the police found three more bodies near the Pargaon bridge on the Bhima river flowing through Pune. In this case, along with detaining five persons, a case of murder has been registered. A case has been registered against him under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. an officer gave this information on Wednesday.
Let us inform that initially the police had raised the suspicion of mass suicide after the bodies were found in the river. Along with this, the police did not rule out the possibility of murder. However, in the examination of the dead bodies, the police did not find any injury marks on the body. The accused have been arrested after the police found evidence of murder during the investigation. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained by the police.
According to the information, the police have identified the dead as Mohan Pawar (45), his wife Sangeeta Mohan (40), their daughter Rani (24), son-in-law Shamam, and their three children. The age of all three children is between three and seven years. Please tell that the dead include a couple, their daughter-son-in-law and three grandchildren. Till now this information has not been received as to why all have committed suicide or with what intention the three were murdered. Police informed that the deceased were residents of Beed and Osmanabad districts of Marathwada region and worked as labourers.
While searching for the bodies, the police found all the bodies at a distance of 200 to 300 meters in the Bhima river. Some injury marks were also found on the dead bodies. At the same time, the police have removed the dead bodies from the water and sent them for postmortem. The post mortem report has confirmed death due to drowning. In the investigation, the police have started investigation in every angle from suicide.
