SS Rajamouli’s RRR wins Seattle Critics Award 2023 for Best Action Choreography Film

The film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, has achieved another victory. After winning a Golden Globe in the Best Song category for Natu Natu, the film won not one but two Critics’ Choice Awards. Now Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s film has managed to win another prestigious award. RRR has won the Seattle Critics Award 2023.

The SS Rajamouli directorial RRR won the Best Action Choreography award at the Seattle Critics Awards 2023 for its stunning cinematography and amazing action sequences. With action drama RRR winning yet another coveted trophy, it has further increased its chances of bagging a nomination at Oscars 2023.

Prem Rakshit and Dinesh Krishnan choreographed the stunts, while Vicky Arora, Ivan Kostadinov, Nick Powell and Raicho Vasilev were the stunt coordinators for Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s film. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR is an action film centered on the life and fictional friendship of two real-life Indian freedom fighters, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris in pivotal roles.

From box office success to winning multiple awards, SS Rajamouli’s film has received global acclaim. After bagging Golden Globes, LA Critics’ Choice Awards and now Seattle Critics Award, team RRR has set its sights on the coveted Oscars. The film has been submitted to the Oscars 2023 in 14 categories. The final nominations for the Academy Awards will be announced on January 24.

Talking about his chances at Oscars 2023, Natu Natu composer MM Keeravani said, I am sure we will win Oscars as well. I have over 1,200 messages on my phone and countless requests for interviews here, in the US and all over India. When I get calls and messages from home in India saying I have made the country proud, I feel I have finally achieved something.
