Los Angeles, September 29 (IANS)| Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has made a surprise return as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’, but actress Elizabeth Olsen just finds out. As reported by Variety, Jackman’s return to Variety’s Power of Women was reported “on the carpet,” and she expressed surprise at the reveal.
“Really?” Olsen asked when he heard the news. “very nice.”
With Jackman returning as Wolverine, Olsen wants Scarlet Witch to team up with more X-Man characters on the big screen. After all, the Scarlet Witch character is the daughter of mutants and Magneto in the comic books, played by both Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender on the big screen.
“I think Wolverine is X-Man,” Olsen said when asked which characters he hopes to work with in the future of the MCU. “It would be great to work with a lot of people from the X-Men franchise.”
Olsen last played Scarlet Witch in Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness.
Will Scarlet Witch return? Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Variety character will return.
“There really is a lot to explore,” Feige said. “We still haven’t touched many of her main stories from the comics. I can work with Lizzie for another 100 years if I can.” He added: “Anything is possible in the multiverse, we have to see.”
