This time the Hindi film ‘Liar’s Dice’ is sent from India for the Oscars.
‘Liar’s Dice’ is a drama film that tells the story of a native woman who is looking for her husband.
It stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Geetanjali Thapa in the lead roles.
The director of the film is Geetu Mohandas who has made many Malayalam movies.
The general secretary of the Film Federation of India (FFI), Suparn Sen, told the BBC that the film has been selected by India for the Oscar’s ‘Best Foreign Film’ category.

This movie went to the Oscars beating 29 movies.
This time, films such as Queen, 2 States, Mary Kom and Youngistan also entered the race for the Oscars.
