Court directs Mumbai Police – no action against Rakhi Sawant till February 1

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday directed the Mumbai Police not to take any action against actress Rakhi Sawant till February 1. Model Sherlyn Chopra has filed a case against Rakhi. While hearing the matter, the Bombay High Court judge said that ‘no coercive action’ is to be taken against Rakhi Sawant and directed this relief to continue till February 1. In the complaint, the model alleged that Rakhi Sawant published inappropriate and objectionable videos and photos of her.

It may be noted that the Bombay Court on Monday directed the Mumbai Police not to take any action till Tuesday in the case lodged by Sherlyn against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant. Actually, Rakhi Sawant has approached the High Court for anticipatory bail. It is alleged that Rakhi Sawant showed some videos of the complainant to the media which were objectionable. Justice MS Karnik’s bench posted the matter for tomorrow

Please tell that on January 19, Mumbai Police registered a case against Rakhi taking complaint action and also took her along for questioning. Mumbai Police said that on the complaint an FIR was registered against Rakhi Sawant and lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt. Rakhi was taken into custody by the Amboli police last Thursday. In fact, after the case was registered, several times the police called Rakhi for questioning, but due to her mother’s illness, Rakhi did not turn up. After this the police took them into custody.

There is a dispute going on between Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra for a long time. According to the police, in November 2022, Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra lodged an FIR against each other for using objectionable language.
