According to CBRE, the country’s data center market has seen investments worth $14 billion in the past five years. It added that the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rapid increase in the adoption of the technology. The use of data has increased rapidly since the pandemic. According to the report, the government’s recent announcement to grant DCs ‘infrastructure status’ is expected to facilitate access to global capital for stakeholders through the ECB route. Total data center investment is expected to exceed $20 billion by the end of 2025. This means that an additional $6 billion is expected to be invested by 2025.
