Berger looking for land in Odisha for new plant, Lucknow plant will start soon

Berger Paints Limited is looking for land in Odisha to set up a new manufacturing plant. A top official of the company gave this information on Tuesday. Along with this, the company is also preparing to start the paint manufacturing plant near Lucknow at a cost of Rs 1,015 crore. Spread over 36 acres in the Sandila Industrial Park, the fully-automated plant is likely to start commercial production by end-January or early-February.

Berger Paints has acquired 40 acres of land at Panagarh Industrial Park in West Bengal for manufacturing industrial resins, construction chemical resins and industrial products. This will be Berger’s third plant. It also has plants at Shibpur in Howrah district and Rishra in Hooghly.
